Winter Holiday Cards

I try to make our cards every year and this year my first card layout was very time consuming. Beyond being time consuming, I also couldn't decide what color I wanted to go with and the Basic Grey paper I choose was older so I couldn't find more to buy. So I made a few of them and shifted gears--slightly.

Recipe
Stamps: pine branch (Club Scrap), Joy (Hero Arts) and Holiday Interactive Circles (Limited Edition, Art Warehouse)
Paper: Basic Grey dp, colored cs
Ink: Varied
Other: ribbon, foam tape, glitter glue and Coluzzle circles

So before I went insane making these I switched to this more "simplified" card--smile. Both were fun to make and I certainly hope people enjoyed receiving them as much as I enjoyed making them.
Recipe:
Stamps: foam snowflakes and Let It Snow (The Angle Co.)
Paper: various cs (Bazzill and Paper Accents)
Ink: various
Other: clear embossing powder, glitter glue, white glitter, watercolor crayons, water brushes,
foam tape and ribbon.

Something To Share

Well, I had hoped that Pak Rats Stamp and Scrap would have been up and going in November, but life always seems to remind us that things happen. I now hope to have it up and going in the middle of January so please keep a look out for us! I will certainly post the minute it is up and going--don't worry.

I had created these samples to show people how versatile our kits are whether you are a non-stamper, an avid stamper or maybe more into scrapbooking. I was involved in a craft show in November and had these as make-n-takes. If someone said "I've never stamped" I could let them know that with the one (black/red/white) there was no stamping necessary. They were astonished to see how easy it really was to make a beautiful, little giftbox like this one. The plaid sample was much more time consuming, but it allowed people to play with the stamps and all the fun stuff. The wreath has little red, glitter berries on it which just wouldn't show up in the picture...it is lovely. I made about 20 of the black/red/white boxes and filled them with candies and in some cases a gift certificate and mini cookie cutter or I attached a little ornament to the outside using ribbon. People just loved them!
